ABOUT 2KO
International
2KO was formed
in 1998 by partnership between Barry Smith and Gary Williams.
Barry Smith was previously Managing Director of Training
Connection in Johannesburg, now Torque-IT. Barry Smith had in
partnership with another Gary, Gary Chalmers started Training
connection from a garage and had grown it to the largest
Microsoft technical training centre in the Southern hemisphere
within 3 years.
2KO joined forces with Inspecs in the UK.
Inspecs owned a building in London and have subsequently moved to
Farleigh where they bought a castle. 2KO was appointed a Microsoft
Partner in 1999, and has continued the close relationship with Microsoft
ever since. 2KO expanded its training through the early 2000's into
Cisco and other non-Microsoft programs too. In 2007, 2KO International
was granted ISETT SETA approval. This means companies in South Africa
can claim back most of the course fees paid out on courses at our
centres.
2KO has been involved with
Resettlement training
for members of the British
armed forces almost since inception, and a high proportion of customers
are leaving the armed forces. We are very proud of our record in
certifying members of the MOD and are well known at many bases for
absolute excellence. We offer authorised, industry-relevant training
with a focus on practical delivery. Our training is about equipping
people with real skills, not just exam passes, and yet we maintain one
of the highest pass rates anywhere.
2KO has a family feel
about it, and our concern stretches to way beyond the course by for
example providing a
job finding
service.
Our training takes place mostly in
Cape Town
, at our Greenpoint centre, which is
close to the city centre. Our students
are looked after in luxury and style and
nothing is too much trouble for our
dedicated team. Our training packages to
Cape Town
are especially popular due to the
excellent study environment away from
home and office distractions. We even
have special offers for your partner to
enjoy a holiday while you study. We
offer full time, as well as distance
learning courses.
2KO offers training not only on Microsoft
but on Cisco, Linux, CompTia, Oracle and
also many business courses such as Project
Management and Crystal Reports.
