Our sailing and yachting courses are aimed at ensuring our candidates are trained up to secure the best paying jobs in their field, due to a high level of training and expertise passed on by the instructors.
2KO International offers RYA Coastal Skipper, RYA Yacht master and deck Hand courses in Cape Town for Resettlement training. Our courses through OSA or other academy schools which are RYA

SAILING COURSES
Course Content:
Competent Crew Practical Course
This is for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers. By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day routines.
Minimum 5 days
Day Skipper Shore based Course
Beginners and Crew who would like to become actively involved in navigation should attend. The syllabus arms would be skippers with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day.
40 hours and 2 exam papers.
Day Skipper Practical Sailing Course (Tidal)
The practical course gives you a chance to take
charge on short passages under instruction with
plenty of advice and help from the instructor.
Designed for tidal waters.
5 days
Watch leader Practical Course (Optional)
Duties and responsibilities of a watch leader,
including safety, seamanship, navigation and
collision avoidance. Leading STCW ‘s.
Minimum 5 days
Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Shore based
Course
A Course for more experienced skippers which
takes them up to the theory knowledge required
for Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Practical
Examination.
40 hours and 3 exam papers
Coastal Skipper Practical Sailing Course (Tidal)
This is an advanced skippering course for
yachtsmen and women who have considerable
knowledge of sailing and navigation and are
usually aspiring towards a Certificate of
Competence. Designed for Tidal waters.
5 days
Assumed Experience
Designed for the novice/intermediate with little
or limited sailing experience, who are looking
to obtain significant ability as an Offshore
Skipper.
Assumed Experience

or limited sailing experience. We suggest that
novices or those with little yachting experience
attend the Competent Crew Course first.
