Bae BUCCANEER - Price: € 7,500
The British
Aerospace Buccaneers are only flown from Cape Town. This tandem
two-seater aggressor is designed for low-level, high-speed
attack. Powered by two Rolls Royce Spey non-afterburning bypass
turbofans, these awesome machines perform just below the speed
of sound at zero altitude.
Your training includes a full morning’s briefing, survival
training, ejection seat training, oxygen management, as well as
the kit and all your equipment.
Designed for the Royal Navy, the Buccaneer flew low and fast to
deliver deadly nuclear weapons to enemy targets. The final three
were built specifically for the Defense Ministry (MoD) and
primarily used on countless research programs. Service ended in
1994 while XW 988 flew out of Boscombe Down until February 1995.
Of the three aircrafts, (painted overall gloss black), are now
part of the Thunder City Squadron.
