What is covered in the exams
Fundamentals of PC Functionality (FTO-101)
This test is designed to show that the candidate has the knowledge to identify basic IT vocabulary and PC
components, setup a basic PC workstation, conduct basic software installation, and recognise and prevent basic security risks and threats.

Fundamentals of Technology (FTO-201)
This test is designed to show that the candidate has the knowledge to explain the characteristics of PC hardware and peripherals while identifying basic compatibility issues and operational problems. This test will also assess the candidate’s knowledge in the areas of safety guidelines and preventative maintenance of computers.
