MCSD Training Course (instructor led)

• Microsoft’s premier programming certification
• Five exams required to become an MCSD

• We recommend that if you plan to pass exams whilst in Cape Town you allow at least an extra 2 or 3 weeks
• You can do the official exams at a centre in your home town, or at our centre which is authorised to deliver these exams.

Where is the course held?
All training is handled at our Greenpoint training centre in Cape Town, South Africa.

What other branches do you have in SA or in the world?
We only train in Cape Town.

What books do I get with this course?
You will receive a course text book which you can take away with you to keep after the course.

How long will it take me to get certified?
It is realistic to expect to pass one or two exams in a five week package and up to 5 exams in a 6 or 7 week package. If you have past experience, we have had many students pass all seven exams within 6 weeks

Does the price include the official exams?
No, the exams are not included in the price. Exam prices vary from centre to centre. 

What about accommodation?
Accommodation is available close to our centre, at a variety of rates, depending on the standard of your accommodation. Our standard accommodation is quoted on persons sharing a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment, each with own bedroom and bathroom.  The standard rate is R385 ($55) per night  which includes breakfast at the training centre on weekdays. If you require single or hotel accommodation, please request a quote.

Can I do the course without accommodation?
Accommodation is entirely optional and is quoted separately to the course fee.

How to enroll

• Before enrolling you should have the following information ready:
   
  • Date you wish to attend the course
  • Payment method – how you will be paying
  • An understanding of the costs of the total package
     
• You can call us on our office number (see our web site contact page on www.i2ko.com) and request a booking telephonically
• You can book by email – simply send us an email with your name, the date and how you would like to pay. We will send you an invoice and upon payment your place is secure
• Request a credit card payment. We do accept credit card payments.

About the Certification Exams

The certification exams are done at any authorised testing centre such as 2KO. You can find a list of exam centres close to you by going to www.vue.com

The exam is a multiple test, on computer at an authorised test centre. The results are made known immediately. If you fail the test, you must book it again at a future date and will pay again.

How much does the course cost?

The course fee is quoted in the currency of your country. Please contact us for the latest prices and special offers. The Microsoft exam fees are not included in the course fee unless specifically stated.

If you are from out of town, we can arrange accommodation close to our centre. Accommodation rates vary depending on the time of year.

Course pre-requisites?

Before doing the course we recommend that you should be able to use a PC to save files and work with files and folders. You should have a basic knowledge of networking.

We will send you pre-course reading which will assist with preparing you, when you enroll on this course.
