How long has
2KO International been around?
2KO International was formed and started trading in December
1998.
Is 2KO Certified?
Yes, all trainers have passed the relevant exams they teach and
are Certified Instructors. 2KO has been a Microsoft Certified
Partner since 1999 and currently holds this accreditation for
2006 - Microsoft Partner number 518200.
Why should I train with 2KO?
2KO has an unbeatable track record. We have been around for
almost 10 years, and we have a virtually 100% scoring of
"Excellent" feedback from students for many years. Plus all
courses are aimed at students who would like to attain
certification. Our environment is very conducive to
certification studies.
How competitive is your pricing?
2KO prices are amongst the most affordable world wide. Compare
us with other training providers. Our standards are very high
and we do not compete the the ultra-cheap packages.

How long do I have to complete my course after I book?
When you book a course with us, we would expect you to attend
the course on the planned date. If you book for a 4 week course
such as MCSD, MCSE or Platinum, you normally have 12 months to
complete the course. You can break the course into one week
modules with breaks in between, or do 2 weeks at a time. It is
very flexible.

What is your cancellation policy?
Courses which are cancelled more than 14 days in advance are
refundable. Courses cancelled from 7 to 14 days before the
course are 80% refundable. Courses cancelled within 7 days are
not refundable at all.

Where are your offices?
2KO has an administrative and sales office in Bath, United
Kingdom and a training centre in Hout Bay.
Do you train only in Cape Town?
Yes, our offices are in Hout Bay. But we do offer accommodation
and often it is cheaper to fly from Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth
or Durban or even from overseas than it is to train in those centres.
For corporate and business institutions we offer onsite training
packages in Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Richards Bay and all
coastal areas.

Do you offer part time training?
For students who are unable to make full-time class training, we
offer on-line learning courses which you can do at times which
suit you. Currently we do not offer part time classes in the
evenings or weekends, but this is planned to begin in 2007.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, some course pages will have a Buy Now button on the
page allowing you to make payment immediately by credit card.
For some courses, we can take credit card details and process
these payments manually. We add 6% to cover
credit card charges to our company.

Can I pay off my course or do I need to pay in full?
Yes, if you have a credit card, you can use your budget
facility. Alternatively under certain circumstances you may pay off your course over 3
to 6 months. This needs to be given in writing from 2KO
International, and there may be a reduction in benefits with
such an arrangement.

What is Pass and Continue?
Pass and
continue is where you get exams offered with your package on a
pass and continue basis. How this works is as follows:
1) The Pass and
Continue must be offered to you in writing as part of your
package. It is not automatically included,
and it must be stated on your invoice.
2) You must have
completed the training module with 2KO, before booking the
official exam. You may book the exam
for the Monday after you finish any module. Our centre
is not open on weekends.
3) Once you have
completed the training module, you may book an exam and 2KO will
pay for your first exam.
4) If you pass, you
may book the next exam, provided you have completed the training
module. But if you fail,
you must rebook the same exam at your own cost, and pass it
before you can book a different exam. Once you
pass the resit for the exam you failed, 2KO will pay again
until you fail.
5) The pass and
continue has a fixed time period, and is only valid whilst you
are on course. Once your course is
complete, any unused exam fall away. Note there is no
refund for any unused exam, as you have NOT
been charged for these exams. Exams are not
transferable to a later date or another student. In cases where
you split a long course into smaller parts, (eg MCSE 4
week program over 2 x 2 week stints) you may do exams
of the modules you attended in the first two weeks,
when you arrive back to do the next two weeks. If you pass
all of your core exams (70-290,291,293 and 294) you may
then do other elective exams, provided you are still on
a course package with us.
Example 1 - You enrol for an MCSE and pay for 6 weeks.
After week 1 you have completed 70-290 and book the
exam. 2KO will pay for you to take that exam. If you pass, you
may book 291 after the 2nd week.
After week 4 you have completed the classroom training, and you
are staying on to take exams.
You may then book for any of the MCSE elective exams once you
have passed the four courses you
sat in class for.
Example 2 - You enrol for an MCSE and pay for 4 weeks,
but wish to split the course into two week stints.
After week 1 you have completed 70-290 and book the exam. 2KO
will pay for you to take that
exam. If you pass, you may book 291 after the 2nd week, on the
Monday (we allow you one day
grace). You then leave. You may not do another exam on 2KO
account until you return for the
second stint of 2 weeks. On arrival you may book exams 290 or
291, as you have already done
those modules. After your 2nd stint of 2 weeks, you have the
following Monday to book any
exams.
6) You may book any
exam outside of these rules, at your own expense, as 2KO is an
authorized test centre.
7) Exams are not
refundable, and have not been charged for. It is an add-on
service offered at 2KO's discretion.
There may be times when this offer is not extended to any
students, or it may be applicable only to some
students on a given course.
8) You may not
transfer your exam to another student, not can you exchange
untaken exams for vouchers.
9) If there is any
confusion, please contact us for an explanation.
