Run Linux with No Hard Disk

Did you know that you can run Linux and connect to the internet without a hard disk?

You can run Linux using only your CD ROM! This is an awesome demonstration on the flexibility and power of Linux!

Now you can sell that 1.5 gig hard drive...and still be able to connect to the internet :)

This works great for recovering data from a hard drive....also you can access the internet if you are connected to it from a network.

Go to: http://lab.dyne.org/DyneBolic

Download the: dynebolic-0.3.iso.gz
only 47mb xwindows based(blackbox)

Unzip the file once downloaded
Burn the image to CD as an image
Place the new CD with the image into your CD ROM drive
Reboot from the CR ROM
.... and Linux is up and running...........WITHOUT using the hard drive at all

Take the CD back out and reboot and your back into your normal system.... doesn't mess with the hard drive (unless you mount it to do data recovery etc.)
