Founded in 1980, the Association of Accounting
Technicians is sponsored by four of the major
accountancy bodies in the UK:
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and
Accountancy (CIPFA).
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and
Wales (ICAEW).
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
There are more than 88,000 students and members
