A 2KO International is an authorised affiliate reseller of Amazon.com, but this is not an official Amazon.com branch in SA

Q     Is there any benefit to shopping on this web site instead of Amazon.com?
A     The benefit to shopping with AmazonSouthAfrica.co.za is that we will aim to provide a service to our customers wherever possible and to assist
       with support. We usually try to respond within 2 hours between the hours of 8am and 8pm daily. Also we add items to our recommended shop
       which will ensure that they are available for International shipping. Often, when shopping on Amazon.com, you will discover that items may
       be unavailable in SA due to shipping restrictions. We can solve that problem - see here

Q     Can I buy anything from Amazon because some items must be heavy to ship?
A     Some Amazon.com items are unavailable in South Africa due to manufacturer guarantees and policies. We add items
       to our shops and site from Amazon Global which ensures they are available for international shipping

A     Yes, the Kindle Reader is available for purchase internationally, and most kindle books are available in South Africa.

Q Can I download any Kindle book to my kindle in South Africa?
A Most international best seller kindle books are available for purchase internationally, and can be downloaded to your kindle which can connect to any wireless network.

Q Why does it sometimes state that certain items cannot be shipped to my address? And is there a way around this?
A Some items from categories such as beauty items, electronic, home and audio cannot be shipped Internationally because of guarantees not being valid outside of the USA and Canada. We can solve that problem - see here

Q In spite of trying everything I cannot find out how to ship my desired product to SA. Can you help?
A We are very close to being able to offer a solution for any product on Amazon to be shipped to SA. We will announce this on pour home page soon. If you need something specific urgently, please contact us for a quote here

Q How much is postage and duty?
A Postage is calculated when you check out. The amount will be based on the method you use. For example, standard postage takes 6 weeks and is the cheapest. If you need something fast, it can be sent within 2 to 5 days (Priority International) and this costs the most. Please note that this is sent by DHL and is delivered to your door. Before you finalise your price, you can choose different postage options which will show the different prices.

Q How does personalised quotation work?
A We offer a personal service whereby we will find your product and get it shipped to South Africa for you. Because we can buy the cheapest products we can often find you the product you want at a price cheaper than it is currently being advertised. We usually try to ship the product to you in the fewest possible steps, so it may be that we are able to act as a surrogate orderer on your behalf, with the order and billing done in your own name. We charge a service fee for this, but sometimes even with service fee, the price can be cheaper than the advertised price on Amazon, since we can leverage hundreds of suppliers. We will send you a quote with banking details allowing you to pay in Rands locally by EFT. Then sit back and we will advise you of the progress of your item every step of the way.

Q What if I dont have an Amazon account or a credit card? Can I still order from Amazon?
A We offer a personal service whereby we will find your product and get it shipped to South Africa for you. You do not need an amazon account and because we accept EFT, you do not need a credit card. See our personal quotation page here
